Exponential Leadership: Creating a Culture of Success (2-Day) Establishing a Culture of Success within your organization provides profitability and relevance into the future. This culture is achieved through the alignment of values, achieving high levels of trust, and working with a shared vision. This course provides a competency-based approach that focuses on the emotional intelligence of a leader in addition to the deliberate development of engagement practices and management skills. The result is high impact leadership that makes each individual a positive sphere of influence who creates a culture of success within the respective organization.
Trust, Conflict Resolution, and Team Effectiveness (2-Day) Organizations that experience a negative work environment often display conditions that include: fear, stress, a hostile environment, lack of teamwork, and lack of cohesion. This COI discusses how to increase a positive organizational environment and focuses on building trust, increasing team cohesion, increased openness to change and buy-in, and loyalty.
Optimized Negotiation (2-Day) In business it feels good to be in control of your situation…to know what to expect and how best to handle what comes at you especially when the stakes are high. Based on over 50 years of industry experience, this curriculum is designed to increase participants’ ability to influence outcomes, help build strategic business relationships, increase personal power, and enhance financial positions. This course focuses on how to influence outcomes and solve issues to your advantage, influence profits, problem solving, deal expansion, and negotiation strategy. This course is offered as a two day curriculum or within the Leadership Development Workshop series.
Leadership Development Workshop (1-18 ppl) Most leadership and team development programs are in the form of 1-3 day events where people are required to leave their place of business to attend ‘the event” or conference. This paradigm holds merit for many reasons but can also hold a high opportunity cost from time away from work in addition to the direct monetary costs of the course itself. These typical programs are also have minimal reinforcement mechanisms, are often difficult to schedule, and require people to travel. The LDW is unique in that instead of the typical classroom model, the workshop consists of a series of 1.5 hr workshops given 1-day a week, for 1-hr for 8 consecutive weeks. Workshops can also be provided quarterly.
The Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) series provides a unique, high caliber leadership development program that is customized to a client’s particular needs, aligns with their schedule, and is conveniently provided at their place of business. The course is designed to provide leadership and management skillsets that are sustainable, can be used immediately and that that build on each other throughout the workshop series.
Pricing for the workshop varies according to distance from Tampa, FL, Periodicity, and number of workshops (up to 10). Example: 8 workshop series for Tampa, FL (including materials): $12, 250, Jacksonville, FL $14,500, Outside of Florida-$18,750. Prices include travel in continental U.S. with 1 month notice.
Extraordinary Leadership Course (3-Day) The ability to lead is far more than just a natural gift, it is a concrete and learnable skill - one that can be acquired by studying and applying specific proficiencies and attitudes. A major weakness in most leadership development programs has been the tendency to aim low and strive for incremental improvements in individual areas of weakness. When the results inevitably fail to impact the bottom line, organizations abandon programs as unsuccessful and again resume their misguided focus on uncovering and eliminating leadership weaknesses instead of identifying and developing leadership strengths.
The Extraordinary Leadership Course (ELC) outlines the five core competencies that form the basis for successful leadership and provides research-based strategies for strengthening leadership both in individuals and in organizations and in the process, adds to a solid yet flexible leadership development program that will provide long-term value to virtually any organization.
The ELC also includes the use of several assessment instruments that focus on identifying strengths and identifying positive traits that may become leadership derailers if left unchecked.
Applied Emotional Intelligence (2-Day) Truly knowing oneself and being having increased emotional intelligence are at the heart of effective workplace relationships and productivity. This two-day event focuses on eliminating self-imposed limitations and emphasizes the daily application of EI concepts rather than just focusing on theory. In this hands on course participants develop greater levels of self-knowledge and practice the EI skills that are the core of achieving personal awareness, connecting with others, managing stress, engaging healthy conflict and collaboration, and exhibiting resilience and optimism.
Women In Leadership
1. Taking the Initiative and Leading Change (2-Day) Women are setting a new standard of modern leadership. Gender equality in the workplace makes striking business sense: companies with mixed gender boards perform better. The economic well-being of companies requires that the companies value and utilize both female and male leadership talent. Today’s women are represented in nearly all sectors of the workforce and rising to positions of leadership. Success in these leadership positions requires cultural savviness and an adeptness at switching approaches in engagement. This course inspires and empowers women to take the initiative in purposeful career development and to take on challenging leadership roles to lead change and improve workplaces.
2. Roundtable Leadership (2-Day) Diversity in the globalized workplace is not only a reality but an asset for organizations. To benefit from and embrace diversity, however, practitioners need understand the obstacles faced by women and those faced by others working with women as well. The Roundtable Leadershipprovides insight into the experience of women in leadership positions as well as the evolution of the concept of leadership. This course is designed to help all executives more effectively communicate and work with women. Through candid discussion, this course not only provides practitioners with the knowledge to more effectively work in a diverse setting, it also provides a personal evaluation of one’s own biases and assumptions that influence how the individual operates in the workplace and provide a foundation for practitioners to work with, for or to manage women more effectively in the workplace.
Coaching and Mentoring Series The SOF-ONE Coaching and Mentoring Series (CMS) provides specific education and training that enables mentors and coaches to develop a deeper personal interest and interaction with their mentees and teams. The CMS provides the framework and building material to create a Coaching and Mentoring Program within your organization. Mentors are better able to develop power free, two-way mutually beneficial relationships and learn how to become more involved in the long-term development of their mentees. Coaches learn how to provide specific skills sets for the task, challenges, and performance expectations at work that brings their team to even higher levels of achievement.
The CMS is provided in three formats: Senior (1 on 1), Mid-Level, and Women’s Coaching and Mentoring. Senior Some leaders consistently achieve exponential levels of success. Competition is fierce to work with them, and they always seem to be surrounded by the best, brightest, and most committed teams. The Coaching and Mentoring program for senior leadership believes that profound and lasting business success begins with the leader who influences the organizational environment of their organization. Leadership at this level is not tactical but requires a level of self-knowledge and authenticity that creates clarity, liberates energy, and influences positive change throughout an organization. Building an organization that continuously evolves and innovates requires much more than self-awareness and observation. Leaders must first transform themselves into instruments of change.
The Senior Level Coaching and Mentoring series consists of 7-10 one-on-one coaching sessions.
Mid-Level Small group coaching and Mentoring (should be 6-12 people max) this creates value and also increases need for additional courses. Women’s Coaching and Mentoring Your organization is full of very hard working women however many of these hardworking professionals do not feel they are influencing the strategic direction as much as they could. WCM provides exponential leadership opportunities for women by providing dynamic advice, strategies, and key skill sets that build confidence and optimize leadership abilities. Concept: Women have a unique set of opportunities and challenges in the work environment. Focusing efforts towards their particular development will enable them to provide even greater results to the organization and also enable them to realize greater personal satisfaction. The WCM provides personalized skill set development for any unique challenges or tasks an individual may have and in doing so increases job satisfaction, productivity, and confidence levels of participants. Women who participate in this program can expect to have a greater impact on those around them as well as the overall organization. They will also develop the skill sets necessary to manage expectations, control their environment, access their inner wisdom, and provide even greater leadership to others.
